Computer Labs project for High schools

Computer Lab

Through this program ARAHA works to eliminate computer illiteracy among high school students in East Africa. The focus of the program is to teach the students basic computer skills such as typing and creating documents and also how to use the most popular used computer applications in the world.

Beneficiary schools provide an empty class for the project and ARAHA provides all necessary elements to create a fully functional computer lab. Most recently, ARAHA provided one high school in Kassala city in eastern Sudan with a new computer lab. The project also helps in creating jobs for those who become familiar with Microsoft office.

Project elements provided by ARAHA:
1. New computers for entire classroom
2. Laser printer

3. 15 Computer desks and chairs
4. Computer software and books
5. A/C system - high temperatures in east Africa pose a risk to computer systems.
6. Flooring
7. Voltage stabilizer
8. Training for Teachers

Project Cost $12,000
